Screen price must match the device family
A Windows laptop, gaming laptop and MacBook should not use the same price direction. Use the matching price group for Windows laptop, gaming laptop, MacBook Air or MacBook Pro. MacBook screen pricing depends heavily on model and year.
Not every display fault is a panel
Black screen, lines, flicker or an image only at a certain lid angle can be panel, display cable, backlight, top cover or motherboard. We test external display and lid movement when the symptom points that way.
When to avoid further use
Avoid opening and closing the lid repeatedly if the image cuts out when the screen moves, or if hinge or cover damage is present. Continued movement can worsen cable, backlight and panel damage.
