Find the MacBook model before price
The A-number is usually printed underneath the machine, while model and year can often be found in macOS if the machine starts. MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and MacBook 12 can have similar symptoms but very different screens, batteries, keyboards and repair choices.
Common MacBook categories
